This is one of many project instruments I have taken on and will continue to refurbish as I strongly believe in the lasting quality of the older instruments compared to a large number of the newer models being sold today. However, there are no major or minor dents left and it plays wonderfully from end to end(had to for this low-brass player to make it work. There are still a few tiny micro dings that all metallic instruments tend to pick up through the years. You can see in the pictures that it no longer looks like something that was ill-cared. Then it had to be completely adjusted out so that it played correctly. Carefully polished(each key, nook and cranny by hand) and re-padded.
This flute was worn and tarnished when I acquired it as partial payment for some other repairs I did and it didn't even have a case any longer.
